Действующий президент Украины Петр Порошенко обратился с призывом к кандидату в президенты Владимиру Зеленскому, озвучив ему время, дату и место для проведения политического батла, то есть дебатов.
Как сообщает PRпортал, в эфире телевизионного канала «Украина» вечером 7 апреля Порошенко заявил, что призывает Владимира Зеленского придти на дебаты на НСК «Олимпийский», 14 апреля. Он также подчеркнул, что дискуссии о форме нужно прекратить: «Нам нужно перейти к дискуссии по существу, что только на дебатах может быть».
Порошенко заявил: «Господин Зеленский предлагал стадион. Убежден, что стадион – это не самое лучшее место для проведения такого рода дискуссии. Однако если это его выбор, а в другом любом месте он не хочет проводить дебаты, то тогда я жду его четырнадцатого апреля, на НСК «Олимпийский». Полагаю, что 19 или 20 часов – это будет оптимальное время. Я приглашаю зрителей, все телеканалы, чтобы дебаты были проведены в том месте и во время, как того желал господин Зеленский. Если он сойдет с этого предложения, это будет безответственно по отношению к государству и избирателям».
