Міністерство інформації вигадали для працевлаштування однієї людини. Про це у коментарі Громадському сказала парламентарка Тетяна Чорновол.

На її думку, наразі Україна не може дозволити собі збільшувати апарат чиновників. На ситуацію зі свободою слова у країні нове відомство не вплине, бо зі свободою слова, переконана депутатка, після Майдану в Україні і так погана ситуація.

Ініціатором створення Міністерства інформації є керівник інформаційного департаменту Нацгвардії Юрій Стець, який і збирається його очолити.
