МОК отложил свое решение о запрете участвовать в Олимпиаде сборной России но это не остановило ирландскую букмекерскую компанию Paddy Power. Перед российским посольством в Кенсингтоне в Западном Лондоне букмекеры, известные своими провокационными рекламными трюками, организовали акцию, усугубляющую переживания россиян, пишет adindex.ru

Ссылаясь на новость, что WADA нашли доказательства государственной поддержки четырехлетней допинговой программы, в акции «Медалям объявляется амнистия» просят спортсменов передать обратно свои добытые нечестным путем награды, сложив их в коробку.

Рядом с коробкой стоят модели в образах лыжника, пловца и женщины-бегуна, и красуется плакат: «ПОЖАЛУЙСТА, ПУТИН, ВАШИ МЕДАЛИ. ЭТО НЕ ОБСУЖДАЕТСЯ». (PUT IN – игра слов).

Представитель Paddy Power сказал: «Оказывается, этих противных русских поддерживал Путин и правительство, когда они хитрили с допингом. Мы предлагаем им шанс исправить ситуацию. Я полагаю, мы увидим спортсменов России около этой коробки в течение недели».

Акции предшествовал другой инцидент, когда букмекерская фирма разозлила россиян в кампании с участием футболиста Джейми Варди со слоганом «Chat Shit, Get Banged» перед Евро - 2016.
