Британський таблоїд Daily Mail змінив публікацію, в якій анексований Севастополь був вказаний як частина Росії.

Це сталося після звернення посольства України у Великобританії до редакції видання, передає Крим.Реалії.

"Редакція Daily Mail відреагувала на наш офіційний коментар і лист посла України Наталії Галибаренко редактору досить скупо, зокрема, зазначивши, що інформацію "взяли до відома", – розповіли в посольстві.

У новій редакції статті взагалі не згадується, якій країні належать Крим і Севастополь.

Нагадаємо, Росія анексувала український Крим у 2014 році. У червні 2014 році ЄС у відповідь на окупацію Росією АР Крим увів секторально-економічні обмежувальні заходи проти російської економічної діяльності на території півострова.

Йдеться про заборони та обмеження для компаній і приватних осіб з ЄС щодо діяльності в Криму у торговельно-економічній, фінансовій та інвестиційних сферах, енергетиці, туристичній галузі. Європейці та зареєстровані в ЄС компанії не можуть купувати нерухомість або юридичні компанії у Криму, фінансувати кримські компанії або надавати їм супутні послуги. Туристичним операторам ЄС заборонено надавати послуги в Криму та Севастополі. 

Подібні санкції ввели також Сполучені Штати Америки.
