Члены комитета по разведке и безопасности (ISC) в Британии не определили масштаб влияния России на референдум по выходу страны из Европейского союза. Как сообщает PRпортал, об этом идет речь в отчете парламентского комитета, который до последнего момента не был опубликован, сообщает сегодня издание The Times. В тексте отчета межпартийного комитета нет сведений о том, имела ли Россия достаточное влияние на результаты голосования 2016 года.

По словам теневого министра иностранных дел Эмили Торнберри, результаты отчета способны поднять «серьезные вопросы» касаемо мер безопасности, введение которых предусмотрено для всеобщих выборов в следующем месяце. «Если верно, что наши службы безопасности не смогли прийти к выводу о степени или влиянии российского вмешательства на референдум 2016 года, то это поднимает серьезные вопросы, которые требуют серьезных ответов», - пояснила она.

В документе, для подготовки которого понадобилось полтора года, делается вывод, приводятся в пример статьи антиевропейской направленности, которые были распространены в преддверии референдума телеканалом RT и агентством Sputnik.
