Британське видання International Business Times разом з компанією EyeEm започаткували фотоконкурс архітектурної фотографії, переможців якого визначить штучний інтелект.

Як зазначає медіа, створенням алгоритму займалося команда популярного мобільного додатку EyeEm, який використовують для сортування фотографій, пише Media Sapiens

Розроблена система здатна аналізувати світлини за різними критеріями: від розпізнавання об'єктів на фото до оцінки їх естетичних характеристик.

Прийом робіт на конкурс The Graphic City триває до 12 лютого 2018 року. На конкурс уже надіслали 26 тисяч кадрів. Найкращі фотографії міжнародне видання опублікує.

«Ми хочемо, щоб фотографи візуалізували лінії, вигини та закапелки міст. Шукайте цікаві кути, перетини ліній та нові перспективи. Зосередьтеся на чистих лініях, фігурах та композиціях мінімалістичної архітектури по всьому світу», – зазначає редакція International Business Times.

Медіа зазначає, що зацікавлене не лише роздивитися світлини учасників, а й зрозуміти, чи погоджується воно з переліком переможців, яких обере штучний інтелект.

Компанія регулярно проводить власні конкурси, на які зазвичай надсилають близько 100 тисяч світлин. Членам журі потрібно багато часу, щоб проаналізувати таку кількість робіт. Натомість комп'ютерній системі знадобиться для цього кілька секунд.
