За два роки роботи Верховної Ради народні депутати прийняли 196 законів, 49 із яких стосувалися соціальної політики. Заявив генеральний директор КВУ Олексій Кошель під час презентції звіту: «Як фракції Верховної Ради VIII скликання виконують обіцянки в частині соціальної політики».

Більше всього успішних законопроектів на соціальну тематику розробили депутати Блоку Петра Порошенка – 19. Ще 15 успішних законопроектів у «Народного Фронту» і 11 – у Радикальної партії Олега Ляшка. У «Батьківщини» – сім успішних законів. Найменш результативною виявилася робота «Самопомочі» та «Опозиційного блоку» – по два успішних законопроекти.

Найбільше соціальних законів, 15, стосувалися захисту військовослужбовців, ветеранів війни та учасників АТО. Шість законопроектів були спрямовані на підтримку учасників Революції Гідності. По 5 законів було прийнято задля забезпечення потреб малозабезпечених сімей та людей з інвалідністю; по одному ¬– потреб внутрішньо переміщених осіб, біженців та колишніх працівників органів внутрішніх справ.
