Підтримувані Росією терористи перевіряють профілі в соцмережах журналістів, які прагнуть потрапити на захоплені ними території, і відсівають дуже критичних.

Про це на конференції в Торонто заявив колишній прес-секретар СММ ОБСЄ в Україні Майкл Боцюрків, передає "Укрінформ".

"Ми дізналися, що в так званій "ДНР" є спеціальні люди, які вивчають профілі в Facebook і Twitter іноземних журналістів, що хочуть потрапити до Донецька. Якщо публікації розцінюють, як занадто критичні, то репортерам відмовляють в доступі", - сказав він.

Боцюрків додав, що в останні тижні терористи почали активніше стежити за діями іноземних журналістів на захоплених територіях.

"Останнім тижнями іноземні журналісти повідомили мені, що почали стикатися із більшими складнощами при потраплянні на неконтрольовану урядом територію. Навіть, якщо їм вдавалося це, вони мали дуже обмежений доступ та перебували під уважним спостереженням", - зазначив він.
