Работа составляет 3,3 тыс. страниц. Она заняла у автора проекта около полугода. В новом формате писание использовалось 80 различных эмодзи и 200 слов.

Переводчик не раскрывает свое имя, описывая себя как "крутого чувака в солнечных очках". При этом он отметил, что не является христианином, хотя "во многом согласен с Иисусом".

"Я хотел сделать текст Библии похожим на то, чем люди делятся в SMS или твиты, сократив общее количество символов", - рассказал автор издания. По его словам, идея передать в виде пиктограмм текст Библии родилась из твиттера @BibleEmoji.
