Сенатор сообщил об этом по телефону сотрудникам своей кампании. Кандидат на выдвижение получил хорошие результаты на праймериз в трех штатах.
Он выдвигался до тех пор, пока в последний день февраля Байден не достиг убедительной победы в Южной Каролине, которая сплотила умеренных избирателей вокруг бывшего вице-президента.
Сообщается, что политика Сандерса становилась все более популярной с годами, сенатор Вермонта изо всех сил пытался расширить свою собственную поддержку и стимулировать выигрышную коалицию.
