Министр внутренних дел Арсен Аваков представил книгу "Ленин с нами?". Об этом он написал на своей странице в Facebook.

По его словам, он представил книгу в честь 100-летней годовщины "великой октябрьской социалистической революции".

Министр рассказал, что соавторами книги являются известные украинские политики, публицисты и общественные деятели: Владимир Вятрович, Евгений Захаров, Николай Княжицкий, Виталий Портников и Игорь Жданов.

"Мы издали книгу на трех языках: украинском, слобожанско-русском и английском. "Ленин с нами?" – книга-вопрос, книга-дискуссия, а для кого-то, возможно, книга-провокация. Я считаю, что нашему обществу совершенно необходима широкая общественная дискуссия о роли и месте в истории нашей страны коммунистического проекта и образа Ленина, как его символа", – написал Аваков.

Напомним, пока Аваков презентует книгу про Ленина, Верховная Рада намеревалась уволить главу МВД, однако попытка депутатов сорвалась – проект постановления не поддержало необходимое количество парламентариев.

В марте президент Украины вместе с супругой посетили VII Международный фестиваль "Книжный Арсенал". Порошенко пополнил семейную библиотеку, приобретя посвященные истории искусства книги, в частности "Казимир Малевич. Киевский период 1928-1930гг", "Каталог Чистое искусство", "Decommunization Ukrainian Soviet Mosaics".

Также глава государства ранее назвал любимые книги, прочитанные в 2016 году.
