Визит американской телезвезды армянского происхождения Ким Кардашьян в Ереван стал одним из катализаторов социальных беспорядков, продолжающихся в стране, пишет издание The Daily Beas, передает Корреспондент.

В материале автор называет 34-летнюю светскую львицу "Леди Свободой", которая своим приездом в апреле 2015 года стимулировала стремление жителей армянской столицы к переменам.

"Было много факторов и подводных течений, но визит звезды реалити-шоу в апреле помог пробудить стран", - пишет автор материала.

Напомним, в апреле Ким Кардашьян со своей семьей прибыла в Армению. В рамках поездки знаменитости пообщались с премьер-министром страны Овиком Обрамяном, а также посетили памятник "Мать-Армения", древнехристианский храм Гегард, мемориал жертв геноцида в Армении и побывали в городе Гюмри, где предположительно живут родственники отца Кардашьян.
