Разгон произошел накануне, 3 июля. Противники Лукашенко собрались у входа в городской парк и пошли по центральной улице Ленина. У них не было с собой плакатов, они не выкрикивали лозунгов. Люди шли и хлопали в ладоши.

Вскоре к колонне подъехали микроавтобусы ОМОНа. Силовики задержали несколько человек.

Участники акции рассеялись по дворам и соседним улицам. После этого микроавтобусы ОМОНа кружили по кварталу, не давая людям собраться в большие группы.

"За совершение административных правонарушений сотрудниками милиции задержаны 7 граждан, в отношении которых начат административный процесс", - сообщили в пресс-службе УВД Брестского облисполкома.
