Адвокат президента США Руди Джулиани собирается опубликовать доказательства, которые якобы свидетельствуют о вмешательстве Украины в выборы США в 2016 году.

Об этом говорится в его твиттере.

"Никогда не предъявляйте обвинения, основываясь на слухах. Я так не делал, когда появились утверждения о незаконном влиянии Украины на выборы 2016 года, [но теперь] у меня есть свидетели, видеозаписи и компрометирующие документы, чтобы это доказать. Смотрите и ждите!" - написал Джулиани.

Напомним, в 2017 году в издании Politico вышла статья "Попытки Украины саботировать Трампа навредили ей самой" журналиста Кеннета Фогеля. В нем говорилось, что украинские чиновники пытались помочь кандидату от демократов Хиллари Клинтон и подорвать позиции Трампа, в частности, распространяя документы о причастности Пола Манафорта - главного помощника Трампа - к коррупции.

В начале 2019 года генпрокурор Украины Юрий Луценко заявил, что украинские правоохранители расследуют возможное вмешательство украинских властей в выборы в США, в частности директора Национального антикоррупционного бюро Артема Сытника.

В НАБУ в ответ обвинили Луценко в "абсурдной попытке дискредитации" Бюро.
