На официальном YouTube-канале компании был опубликован ролик с расширенной версией рекламы для Суперкубка.
Он посвящён портативному и стационарному режимам новой домашней консоли Nintendo Switch и сопровождается довольно бодрой музыкой. К слову, речь идёт о об затратах компании в размере $5 млн. Всё верно — всего 30 секунд рекламного времени в этом году обходятся рекламодателям в такую внушительную сумму. Очевидно, Nintendo верит в светлое будущее системы, и не боится инвестировать в её успех.
В расширенном ролике демонстрируются все возможные целевые аудитории: и заядлые игроки, не желающие отрываться от новой Zelda; и группы друзей, играющие в соревновательные режимы Mario Kart или Splatoon; и любители казуальных игр, развлекающиеся в Just Dance или 1-2 Switch; и, конечно, семьи, которые совместно проводят время за игрой. Нам также показан режим эмуляции, в котором игрок запускает одну из старых 2D-частей файтинга Street Fighter.
Заканчивается всё сообщением о выходе консоли на рынок 3 марта. Расширенный ролик для YouTube длится 1,5 минуты, но лишь треть его будет показана в воскресенье во время Суперкубка, причём акцент в нём сделан на игроке, которому не терпится поиграть в Zelda ещё до завтрака:
