З часу проведення опитувань CNN рейтинг схвалення перших півроку роботи президента опускався нижче 50% лише раз. У 1993 році президента Біла Клінтона підтримували 44% громадян.

Рівень довіри до Трампа знизився навіть серед його соратників республіканців – з 73% у лютому до 59% сьогодні. Абсолютне несхвалення роботою Трампа серед демократів увесь час утримується на рівні понад 80%.

Три четвертих американців заявляють, що сьогодні вони не можуть довіряти більшості офіційної інформації, яка надходить з Білого дому.
