Ректор Киевского национального университета культуры и искусств Михаил Поплавский хочет выдвинуть свою кандидатуру на довыборах в Верховную Раду в избирательном округе №197 с центром в Каневе.

Наличие такой информации Главкому подтвердил депутат городского совета, председатель фракции ВО "Батькищина" Сергей Ткаченко. "Действительно, сегодня пошли разговоры о том, что будет идти Михаил Михайлович Поплавский. Не знаю, насколько эти разговоры правдивы", сказал он.

По словам Ткаченко, до сих пор неизвестно, кто станет "кандидатом от власти" в 197- м округе. "Будет баллотироваться Богдан Губский или не будет мы также не знаем", сказал он.

Напомним, Поплавский был народным депутатом IV созыва. В 2010 году был избран депутатом Киевского областного совета от города Ирпень.

На выборах в Верховную Раду Украины в 2012 году он баллотировался по мажоритарному округу №91 Киевской области как самовыдвиженец.
