Один з лідерів Партії регіонів Сергій Тігіпко подав у Центральну виборчу комісію документи для реєстрації кандидатом у президенти як самовисуванець.

Про це повідомляє Інтерфакс-Україна.

Раніше голова фракції Партії регіонів у Раді Олександр Єфремов заявив, що з'їзд, на якому партія визначиться зі своїм на кандидатом на пост президента, відбудеться 29 березня.

Як відомо, про намір балотуватися у президенти раніше заявляли зокрема екс-прем'єр-міністр України Юлія Тимошенко, лідер УДАРу Віталій Кличко, голова Правого сектору Дмитро Ярош та екс-губернатор Харківщини Михайло Добкін.

Дострокові президентські вибори в Україні призначені на 25 травня.
