Сторонники Вадима Титушко, котрого обвиняют в нападении на журналистов во время митинга оппозиции в Киеве 18 мая, предлагают запретить использование его фамилии как нового термина.

По их словам, его фамилия как имя нарицательное приобрела негативную коннотацию, что следует изменить, пишет газета Вести. Однако специалисты считают, что сделать это юридически фактически невозможно, так как это не уникальная для страны фамилия.

В то же время, защитница подсудимого Оксана Шкода заявила, что из Титушко пытаются сделать "козла отпущения", потому что в едле стала ифгурировать политика. Она добавила, что сам обвиняемый старается не бросать вуз, регулярно ходит на тренировки и учится.

"Дело очень сложное, так как здесь замешана политика. И из Вадима сейчас пытаются сделать козла отпущения, мол, кто-то же должен ответить за события 18 мая в Киеве. Поэтому мы будем стараться, чтобы ему приговор, если таки его признают виновным, был минимальным -  условный срок", - подчеркнула она.

Как сообщалсь 16 августа, Шевченковский райсуд города Киева перенес судебное заседание по рассмотрению дела по обвинению Вадима Титушко, Андрея Ярошенко, Сергея Приходько и Михаила Пшука в избиении журналистов Ольги Сницарчук и Владислава Соделя 18 мая этого года на 30 августа.
