Фильм австралийки Китти Грин "Украина - не бордель", который освещает деятельность женской протестной группы FEMEN, будет представлен в Венеции. Об этом пишет Independent.

Как отмечает издание, из фильма следует, что идейным вдохновителем и "серым кардиналом" группы является мужчина Виктор Святский, которого, как утверждает FEMEN, избили сотрудники спецслужб этим летом.

"Это его движение, и он собственноручно подбирал девушек. Он подбирал наиболее красивых девушек, потому что газеты клюют на красивых. Красивые девушки попадают на первые страницы... Так это стало их образом, так они продавали бренд", - говорит автор фильма.

Китти Грин, которая в течение года сожительствовала с девушками в Киеве, отдает должное организаторским талантам г-на Святского, но обеспокоена его влиянием на девушек.

"С девушками он вел себя ужасно. Кричал на них, - утверждает г-жа Грин. - Он, может быть, действительно ужасен, но он - безумно умен".
