По предварительным итогам прошедших парламентских выборов в Австрии правящая центристская коалиция Социал-демократической и Народной партий потеряла голоса, но удержала большинство в парламенте, сообщает BBC News.

Социал-демократическая и Народная партии получили 27,1 и 23,8 % голосов соответственно, что позволит им занять 99 мест из 183. Тем не менее это меньше, чем они получили на выборах 2008 года. 

Обе партии играли ведущие роли в политике Австрии со времен Второй Мировой войны и сохранят влияние по меньшей мере до 2018 года, отмечает BBC News.

 
Упрочила свои позиции националистическая Партия свободы, которая набрала 21,4 % голосов и получит 42 мандата. Впервые в парламент прошла недавно созданная либеральная Новая Австрия, которая преодолела 4%-й барьер и займет девять мест.
 
Явка на выборах составили около 66 %, что меньше показателей 2008 года. Всего в голосовании могли участвовать около 6 миллионов граждан Австрии. Ожидается, что окончательные официальные итоги выборов будут обнародованы в середине октября.
 
Социал-демократы лидируют в Вене, Верхней Австрии, Каринтии и Бургенланде. "Народники" победили в Нижней Австрии, Зальцбурге, Тироле и Форарльберге. В Штирии на первое место вышла Партия свободы.
