Первые предварительные неофициальные результаты президентских выборов в Панаме свидетельствуют о преимуществе кандидата от оппозиционной Панамистской партии Хуана Карлоса Варелы. Об этом сообщает издание Mundo.
Отмечается, что вторую позицию занимает кандидат от правящей Партии за демократические перемены Хосе Доминго Ариас – 30,98%, а на третьей пока остается Хуан Карлос Наварро, представляющий Революционно-демократическую партию, получивший поддержку 30,19% электората, сообщает «Газета.Ru».
По словам наблюдателей, после подсчета 7,7% бюллетеней пока нельзя говорить о какой-либо тенденции в подведении итогов выборов. Члены Избирательного трибунала призвали кандидатов и на пост президента и представителей политических партий «воздержаться от преждевременных комментариев насчет вероятных результатов голосования».
