Сегодня, 15 октября, около девяти часов утра 50-летний житель города Червоноград Львовской области на площади у здания городского совета облил себя бензином и поджег.

Очевидцы трагедии бросились спасать мужчину, погасили огонь и вызвали скорую помощь, сообщает "Сегодня".

«Пострадавшего госпитализировали в ЦРБ с термическими ожогами пламенем головы, рук и живота. Медики диагностировали у него 15% ожогов тела», - сообщила «Сегодня» пресс-секретарь ГУ МВД во Львовской области Светлана Добровольская.

На месте происшествия работает следственно-оперативная группа. Обстоятельства выясняются.

По словам очевидцев, акт самосожжения сопровождался плакатами «Ні свавіллю «Свободи» та «Дякую Вам, пані Вовків». Пользователи соцсетей утверждают, что попытку суицида совершил помощник одного из депутатов Червоноградского горсовета.
