Более четырех тысяч жителей Черкасс и по одному представителю из каждой другой области присели в четверг 25 раз на Соборной площади Черкасс в знак единой и неделимой Украины. Это рекорд Украины по одновременному коллективному приседанию такого количества людей, сообщили представители Книги рекордов Украины, которые и зафиксировали достижение, передает Радио Свобода.

 По словам председателя Черкасской облгосадминистрации Юрия Ткаченко, приседания символизируют объединение всей Украины.

"Мы призываем всех политиков и всех неравнодушных договориться о том, что у нас единая и неделимая страна. И мы символически сегодня всех здесь объединили", - сказал Ткаченко.

С каждой области здесь был один житель. В основном - спортсмены и артисты. Как символ единения Востока и Запада Украины Государственный гимн спели представитель Донецкой области Алексей Кузнецов и уроженец Ивано-Франковщины Василий Лазарович.

После коллективного приседания черкасщане, которые были одеты в футболки под цвет украинского флага, посреди площади изобразили сердце, которое пульсирует.
