Президент Петр Порошенко заявил, что после вступления в силу изменений в Конституции в Украине необходимо провести внеочередные местные выборы
Об этом сообщает Интерфакс-Украина.
«В Украине должны состояться внеочередные местные выборы в связи с принятием изменений в Конституцию для того, чтобы избранные лидеры территориальных общин обрели уже новые полномочия и новую ответственность», - сказал Порошенко, выступая на заседании ПАСЕ в четверг в Страсбурге.
По его словам, новоизбранные депутаты войдут в состав местных советов, которые, в свою очередь, сформируют исполнительный комитет.
Ранее сообщалось, что изменения к Конституции предусматривают предоставление местному самоуправлению полномочий, которых оно никогда не имело за всю историю Украины.
