Ексчемпіон світу з боксу в суперважкій вазі Володимир Кличко обурився через те, що Василь Ломаченко, який став Інтерконтинетальним чемпіоном Всесвітньої боксерської організації, на церемонії оголошення переможця використав не прапор України, а прапор свого рідного міста Білгород-Дністровського.

Кличко перепостив повідомлення про те, що після бою з ганцем Річардом Коммі Ломаченко вийшов на церемонію оголошення переможця без українського прапора, хоча зазвичай переможці використовують національний прапор.

Натомість Ломаченко вийшов із жовто-червоним прапором свого рідного міста Білгород-Дністровського.

Кличко процитував визначення з Вікіпедії, згідно з яким патріотизм або національна гордість – це почуття любові, відданості, прихильності до батьківщини.

Дослівно Кличко: "Василь Ломаченко переміг, вітаю, але чи представляв він свою країну, не використовуючи її прапор? Якого біса (WTF – ред.)".
