В американском сериале "Зверинец" в начале серий показывают кадры с событий на Майдане в Киеве. На этот факт обратил внимание политтехнолог Виктор Уколов.

"Это кадры из американского сериала "Зверинец". Наш Евромайдан, где погибли десятки людей, показывают в заставке перед каждой серией. Поскольку здесь используется наш государственный флаг, по моему мнению отреагировать имеет МИД Украины. Было бы правильным подать в суд на авторов сериала за моральный ущерб украинцев причем с семизначной суммой", - написал Уколов.

Сериал "Зверинец" был выпущен в 2015 году. По сюжету, человечество столкнулось с серией жестоких нападений животных на людей. Биолог Джексон Оз решает выяснить причину происходящего, пока пандемия не вышла из-под контроля. Животные становятся все более изощренными, скоординированными и свирепыми. Ученому необходимо опередить эволюционные изменения загадочного вируса, иначе человечество вымрет.

Было выпущено три сезона, после чего сериал был закрыт. Кадры с Майдана появились в начале серий, где кратко объясняется суть происходящего, в последнем сезоне.
