Пресс-служба Владимира Зеленского допустила ошибку, сообщив, что столицей Канады является Торонто, а не Оттава, и вице-спикер Верховной Рады Ирина Геращенко решила потроллить главу государства из-за незнания географии, однако и сама показала уровень начальной школы. 

Как передает PRпортал, ей пришлось несколько раз редактировать свой пост в соцсети, чтобы наконец вспомнить некоторые столицы. В частности, у Геращенко Гаага – это столица Нидерландов. Похоже, ей пришлось воспользоваться атласом, но даже это не особо помогало, и на помощь пришли пользователи. «На всякий случай, ликбез. Столица Турции - Анкара, а не Стамбул. Столица Нидерландов - Гаага, а не Амстердам. Столица США - Вашингтон, а не Нью - Йорк. А то мало куда следующий визит. А мы переживаем, чтобы все было хорошо», - сначала сообщила Геращенко.

Потом она увидела комментарии пользователей, признала ошибку и начала исправлять пост, причем сделала это восемь раз. По ее словам, она признает свою «опечатку» и заявление пресс-службы о Торонто явилось хорошим поводом вспомнить географию. Владимир Зеленский находился с визитом в Торонто, а не в Оттаве, и в пресс-службе допустили ошибку со столицей Канады.
