На місцевих виборах в Еквадорі перше місце здобув мертвий кандидат.

Чоловік балотувався до регіональної адміністрації на південному заході країни, йдеться у сюжеті ТСН. Кандидат зареєструвався у списках, а незабаром після того, як їх закрили, помер від зупинки серця. Його ім'я з бюлетенів не викреслили, і саме за цього кандидата проголосувала більшість виборців.

Дружина покійного каже - вочевидь, вони хотіли віддати шану чоловіку, який багато років працював на користь регіону. Нині влада вирішує, хто має замінити мертвого кандидата - чи це буде його однопартієць, чи у регіоні проведуть нові вибори.
