Министерство иностранных дел 2 октября запустило онлайн-кампанию, чтобы научить западные СМИ писать Kyiv, а не Kiev, сообщает LB.ua

Как сообщается на сайте МИД, кампания CorrectUA запущена в сотрудничестве с Центром стратегических коммуникаций StratCom Ukraine.

Каждый день на страницах МИД Украины в фейсбуке и твиттере будут появляться посты, содержащие случаи некорректного использования написания Kiev ведущими иностранными СМИ, такими как The New York Times, BBC, Reuters и другие.

Сообщения будут подписываться хештегом #KyivNotKiev.

Напомним, что правила транслитерации регулируются постановлением Кабинета министров №55 от 27 января 2010 года, согласно которому она осуществляется путем воспроизведения каждой буквы украинского слова латиницей.
