Проходящая стажировку молодая сотрудница аппарата сенатора-демократа Мэгги Хассан (от штата Нью-Гэмпшир) временно отстранена от работы за нецензурную брань в адрес президента США Дональда Трампа, которого ранее в прямом эфире обматерила Мадонна. Об этом сообщает ТАСС со ссылкой на газету "Хилл".

Стажерка, по данным издания, позволила себе оскорбительную реплику во время посещения Трампом на прошлой неделе Конгресса США. Представитель Хассан по связям с общественностью Арон Джекобс уведомил газету о том, что стажировавшаяся в офисе сенатора молодая женщина пока на неделю лишена допуска в здание Конгресса.

"Мы в курсе этой ситуации и предприняли меры дисциплинарного характера, включая недельное отстранение от должности и лишение ее стажерского пропуска в Конгресс, – говорится в заявлении Джекобса, направленном в газету. – Эти меры являются реакцией на допущенное ею нарушение правил работы в офисе, включающих в себя уважительное отношение и подобающее поведение".

Представитель сенатора не назвал имени оскорбившей Трампа стажерки. Согласно же сообщениям ряда СМИ, ее зовут Кэйтлин Мэрриотт. Она, как указывается в упомянутых сообщениях, нелестно отозвалась о президенте, когда тот проходил через один из залов Конгресса, направляясь на встречу с законодателями от Республиканской партии.

Напомним, известный голливудский актер Роберт Де Ниро открыто обругал президента США Дональда Трампа в прямом эфире. Этот инцидент произошел во время вручения театральной премии "Тони".

"Я скажу только одно — ***** [к черту] Трампа", – отметил актер.

Как сообщает издание, речь американского актера вызвала бурные аплодисменты в зале.
