Сенатор по имени Оррин Хэтч попал в нелепую ситуацию из-за несуществующих очков. Во время слушаний судебного комитета в верхней палате Конгресса США политик двумя руками потянулся снять со своих глаз очки, но их там не оказалось.

Запись быстро распространилась по сети и стала вирусной. Менее чем за сутки его ретвитнули больше 50 тысяч пользователей.

"Конкретно мужик опозорился", "Боже, ну и что тут такого? Переутомился человек", "Он какой-то странный", "С каждым бывает!", "Удачи ему найти очки, когда они будут ему необходимы", – пишут под видео пользователи сети.

После волны насмешек штаб Хэтча придумал произошедшему шуточное объяснение.

"О, вы имеете в виду невидимые очки от Уорби Паркера? Они новые, вы, наверное, еще ничего о них не слышали", – написали представители республиканца в ответ на твит Левайна.
