Бренд вызвал гнев в сетях постом с гифкой, продвигающей гели для душа.

В посте темнокожая девушка снимала с себя футболку и под ней оказывалась девушка с белой кожей в светлой футболке.

Пользователи сразу же отреагировали на пост, спросив у бренда, что он вообще себе думает.

Пост вызвал волну негодования в пятницу, когда им поделилась make-up художник Наоми Блейк. 

В субботу бренд удалил пост и извинился в Twitter и Facebook. PR-компания бренда Edelman также отметила, что пост не отражал разнообразие настоящей красоты, о которой так заботится Dove и не должен был появиться. Компания также принесла извинения за нанесение обиды этим постом.
