Офіційний представник МЗС РФ Марія Захарова назвала міністра закордонних справ Латвії Едгара Ринкевича "агрегатором фейкових новин" у відповідь на його порівняння референдуму про незалежність Каталонії з "цукеркою, що впала на підлогу " для Росії.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на РИА "Новости".

"Цукерочка, що впала на підлогу? Боже мій, де вони беруть настільки чудових політиків, де виводять цих птахів високого польоту? Не міністр, а агрегатор фейкових новин", - заявила Захарова.

Захарова згадала і сусідню Литву. За її словами, Росія досі чекає "офіційної відповіді від Литви щодо заяви президента Литви про якийсь "список вимог", який нібито їй було пред'явлено Росією". "Мабуть, латвійський МЗС вирішив оригінальним способом відвести удар від керівництва сусідньої країни і видав новий залп фейків", - зазначила Захарова.

Раніше  голова МЗС Латвії Едгар Ринкевич заявив в інтерв'ю інтернет-версії латвійської газети Latvijas Avize, що "референдум про незалежність Каталонії для Росії був як " цукерка, що впала на підлогу", яку Росія використовувала, щоб розколоти ЄС".
