В Японії розпустили нижню палату парламенту, дострокові вибори очікуються 22 жовтня цього року, передає УНН з посиланням на Reuters.

Повідомляється, що прем'єр Японії Сіндзо Абе розпустив нижню палату парламенту. Очікується, що уряд офіційно оголосить про вибори 10 жовтня, а голосування відбудеться 22 жовтня.

Сіндзо Абе, консерватор, який повернувся до влади в 2012 році, сподівається, що підтримка його виборців в останні місяці допоможе його коаліції, очолюваній Ліберально-демократичною партією (ЛДП), підтримувати просту більшість.

"Це буде жорстка битва, але все залежить від того, як ми будемо захищати Японію, а також життя і мирне існування японців", - сказав Абе групі законодавців.

Відзначається, що рейтинг Абе піднявся приблизно до 50% з 30% в липні, частково на тлі його лідерства під час нинішньої кризи в Північній Кореї.

Нагадаємо, прем'єр-міністр Японії Сіндзо Абе 25 вересня оголосив свій план розпуску нижньої палати в четвер, 28 вересня, для проведення дострокових виборів наступного місяця.
