У Катарі хакери зламали сайт державного інформагентства та оприлюднли неправдиве повідомлення від імені владного еміра країни шейха Таміма бін Хамад аль-Тані

Псевдостаття з’явилася на сайті Агентства новин Катару в середу, 24 травня. У ній йшлося, що країна відкликала своїх послів з Бахрейну, Єгипту, Кувейту, Саудівської Аравії та О’бєднаних Арабських Еміратів "через напруженість із адміністрацією президента США Дональда Трампа.

У тексті було вказано нібито цитату еміра Катару про те, що Іран є "ісламською державою", а відносини Катару з Ізраїлем "хороші".

Керівництво урядового офісу зв’язку заявило, що триває розслідування інциденту. До ЗМІ звернулися із проханням не публікувати неправдиві заяви, які були розповсюджені окремими медіа в регіоні.
