Pizza Hut, отреагировав на кадр видеозаписи, который был опубликован Управлением тюрем Израиля, где сняты два эпизода, в которых Баргути, осужденный на 5 пожизненных заключений за убийство и планирование десятков терактов, тайком ест печенье и шоколадный батончик. 

"Баргути, если уж ты собрался сорвать голодовку, то не лучше ли заказать пиццу?" — говорится в рекламной публикации со снимком, на который была добавлена коробка с логотипом Pizza Hut.

Палестинские юзеры возмутились тому, что американская пиццерия пытается подорвать веру заключенных, объявивших массовую голодовку в израильских тюрьмах.

Пользователи запустили в Twitter хэштег с призывом бойкотировать эту пиццерию, — #boycott_pizzahut. 

 
Представитель Pizza Hut в разговоре с журналистами извинился за публикацию и заверил, что сеть больше не будет работать с агентством, которое ответственно за ведение соцсетей компании.
