Інтернет-пошуковик Google змінить свій алгоритм так, щоб виключати з результатів пошуку посилання на фейкові новини та екстремістські висловлювання, передає Російська служба Бі-бі-сі.

Алгоритм буде змінено для протидії групам, які використовують нечесні прийоми оптимізації пошуку.

"Наші алгоритми завжди намагалися "обдурити" люди або системи, щоб їх сайти відображалися як можна вище у виведенні результатів пошуку - вони використовували "ферми" низькоякісного контенту, прихований текст і інші недобросовісні прийоми", - йдеться в заяві, опублікованій у блозі Google.

Частина змін стосуватиметься інструкцій для оцінювачів алгоритмів - живих співробітників компанії, які регулярно оцінюють якість роботи пошуку. Тепер від них вимагатимуть позначати в результатах пошуку образливі матеріали, сайти зі спростованими теоріями змови і просто недостовірною інформацією.

Також зміниться кількість факторів, на які зважає пошуковик, визначаючи черговість виходу на сторінку результатів пошуку. Зараз пошуковик враховує більше ста таких факторів - від свіжості вмісту на сайті до того, як часто шукане словосполучення з'являється на знайденій сторінці.

Тепер більш авторитетні джерела інформації завжди будуть з'являтися ближче до вершини списку результатів пошуку, а ті, які вважаються неавторитетними - переміщуватися нижче.
