Служба безпеки Норвегії підозрює Росію у спробах вплинути на Нобелівський комітет, щоб не допустити присудження Нобелівської премії миру президентові України Петру Порошенко, повідомляє норвезький державний телеканал NRK.

Згідно з його даними, влітку 2015 року в Інтернеті і російських засобах інформації з’явився фальшивий лист американському дипломату від Володимира Гройсмана, який тоді був головою Верховної Ради. У ньому Гройсман дякував США за допомогу у висуванні кандидатури Порошенка на Нобелівську премію миру. Служби безпеки вважають, що публікація листа була покликана дискредитувати Нобелівський комітет.

Через два тижні в норвезькому Нобелівському інституті відбулася зустріч двох російських дипломатів із директором організації Улавом Ньйолстадом, щоб обговорити тиск з боку США на Нобелівський комітет. За даними норвезьких спецслужб, один із тих, хто прийшов був співробітником російської Служби зовнішньої розвідки. У посольстві Росії в Норвегії підтвердили візит, але спростували зв’язки дипломатів з розвідкою.

У 2015 році Нобелівську премію миру присудили Квартету національного діалогу в Тунісі за внесок у створення плюралістичної демократії. Чи був Порошенко серед номінантів, нині невідомо, списки кандидатів публікуються через 50 років після вручення премій.
