Главный советник президента США Стивен Бэннон прокомментировал "войну" Дональда Трампа с американскими СМИ. В интервью газете The New York Times в четверг, 26 января, Бэннон посоветовал журналистам помалкивать, назвав их оппозицией, сообщает DW. 

"СМИ должны чувствовать замешательство и унижение, они должны заткнуться и хоть немного послушать", - сказал Стивен Бэннон.

 

"СМИ - это оппозиция, они не понимают страну и все еще не понимают, почему Дональд Трамп стал президентом", - добавил главный советник.

На своей первой пресс-конференции, которая состоялась 11 января, Дональд Трамп поругался с CNN, назвав телекомпанию "ужасной организацией", публикующей фейки. Журналистам телеканала он даже не дал задать вопрос. А уже после своей инаугурации Трамп назвал представителей прессы "самыми бесчестными людьми на планете". Все потому, что СМИ, по его оценке, занизили число пришедших на инаугурацию.

Пресс-секретарь Белого дома Шон Спайсер в первый день своей работы также раскритиковал СМИ за "ложное", с его точки зрения, освещение инаугурации. Позднее журналисты сами уличили Спайсера во лжи. В администрации в ответ на это пояснили, что пресс-секретарь не лжет, а излагает "альтернативные факты".
