У другому турі виборів президента Болгарії перемагає кандидат від Соціалістичної партії генерал Румен Радев.

Про це свідчать дані ЦВК Болгарії, яка порахувала вже 99,33% голосів, пише Європейська правда

За даними ЦВК, у другому турі Радев набирає 59,35% голосів (2 049 260 виборців).

Кандидат від правлячої партії ГЕРБ ("Громадяни за європейський розвиток Болгарії") Цецка Цачева отримує 36,17% (1 249 043 осіб). Решта громадян 4,48% - не підтримали жодного кандидата.

Новий глава держави вступить у свої повноваження 1 січня 2017 року. Президентський строк у Болгарії становить п'ять років.

Соціаліст Радев неодноразово закликав до покращення відносин з Росією та скасування антиросійських санкцій, запроваджених ЄС. Радев виграв і перший тур президентських виборів, набравши 26%.

Як повідомлялося, прем’єр-міністр Болгарії Бойко Борисов оголосив, що його уряд подасть у відставку на найближчому засіданні парламенту.
