Серед прізвищ осіб у списку так званої "чорної бухгалтерії" Партії регіонів, яку за заявою Віктора Трепака розслідують детективи Національного антикорупційного бюро України, значиться з-поміж інших Пол Манафорт. Це "Українській правді" підтвердили у понеділок в НАБУ.

"Відповідно до списків, на витрати, пов’язані з даною особою, починаючи з 20.11.2007 року було виділено загалом понад 12,7 млн доларів США", – повідомила прес-служба Антикорупційного бюро.

Зазначається, що останній запис в так званій "амбарній книзі" партії Віктора Януковича стосовно Манафорта датується 5 жовтня 2012 року.

"Наголошуємо, що наявність прізвища Манафорта у "списках" не означає, що він дійсно отримав ці кошти, адже у графі отримувачів значаться підписи інших осіб. Досудове розслідування у даному провадженні триває", – наголосили в НАБУ.

Як повідомлялось, раніше The New York Times, посилаючись на дані Національного антикорупційного бюро України, написала, що керівник передвиборчого штабу кандидата в президенти США від Республіканської партії Дональда Трампа екс-радник Віктора Януковича Пол Манафорт міг отримати 12,7 мільйона доларів з України з 2007 по 2012 рік.

В Антикорупційному бюро стверджують, що ім'я Манафорта 22 рази фігурує в так званій "чорній касі", в якій містяться дані про корупційну діяльність "Партії регіонів" за 5 років.
