Гендиректор кремлевской информагентства Россия сегодня и ведущий программы Вести недели Дмитрий Киселев рассказал, как он понимает термин пропаганда.

Его слова приводит ВВС Украина.

"На самом деле пропаганда - это просто попытка что-либо объяснить. Это просто представление точки зрения. Вот и все ... И достаточно последовательное представление о точке зрения - ну, наверное, это можно назвать пропагандой", - сказал он.

В то же время Киселев отметил, что многие воспринимают это слово "как какую-то брань".

По его мнению, время нейтральной журналистики прошло.

"Она невозможна даже теоретически, поскольку в огромном море информации ее отбор уже субъективный, или соответствует редакционной политике. Это первая фаза нарушения нейтральности. Вы не можете сказать все. Избирательность - уже не нейтральность. Второй этап: называние. Вы называете кого-то шпионом, а кого-то разведчиком. Вы называете кого-то террористом, а кого-то ополченцем. Это тоже уже отсутствие нейтральности. Поэтому (смеется) извините, этого уже нет", - отметил Киселев.

Напомним, Киселев во время воскресного выпуска передачи Вести недели на телеканале Россия 1 назвал британскую корпорацию BBC помойкой. Так он прокомментировал фильм Третья мировая война (WW3: Inside the War Room) о конфликте России и НАТО в Прибалтике.
