Министр по делам иммиграции в Австралию Питер Даттон был вынужден извиниться после того, как ошибочно послал политической журналистке Саманте Мэйден СМС-сообщение с текстом "бешеная ведьма"

По словам самой женщины-репортера, реплика касалась министра по делам городов Джейми Бриггса, который подал в отставку.

Даттон отметил, что знаком с Мейден долгие годы и неоднократно обменивался с ней грубоватыми репликами, поэтому он извинился и, как утверждает министр, журналистка приняла его извинения.

Кроме того, министр предположил в интервью местным СМИ, что Мэйден "задаст ему жару" в своей следующей статье.

Джейми Бриггс же был вынужден подать в отставку на прошлой неделе после того, как на его поведение пожаловалась гонконгская сотрудница обслуживающего персонала.
