Починаючи з першого дня Євромайдану, коли українці почали активно використовувати соціальні мережі для інформування та мобілізації, хтось почав масово використовувати ботів з метою засмічення інформаційного поля, введення людей в оману та поширення чуток, пише Watcher.

Наприклад, в Твітері, де можна відслідковувати всі події за хештегом #євромайдан, десятки ботів вкидають інфосміття. Інколи боти-дівчата використовують лексику чоловічу:

Аналогічна ситуація відбувається й у Facebook. Правда, там технологія трохи інша – боти вкидають інформацію та малюнки в масових обговореннях. Наприклад, зробив хтось з лідерів думок запис, під ним багато коментарів. Приходить бот – розміщує якийсь текст. Наприклад, «завтра мітингу не буде, через погоду відмінили» – це повідомлення побачать всі коментатори.

Наскільки це ефективно? Напевно, не дуже, але з цим все рівно можна боротись.

У Твітері, якщо ви бачите користувачів, які під хештегом #євромайдан розповсюджують спам або брехню, необхідно біля твіта натиснути на лінк «більше»:

Далі, обрати «Звіт про твіт» і відзначити там 2 поля «спам» та «блокувати користувача»:

У Facebook з метою покращення санітарних умова спілкування також можна проробити схожі дії: натиснути хрестик справа вгорі біля коментаря («hide»), потім тиснемо «block»:
