В нескольких вопросах приведены цитаты, и читателям предлагается ответить, кому они принадлежат. Например, один из вопросов звучит так: «Кто заявил о том, что лайнер мог быть сбит ракетой „земля-воздух“, выпущенной с территории, подконтрольной ополченцам?»

В случае правильного ответа РИА Новости поздравляет читателя. Кроме того, агентство предлагает читателю разместить в блоге результат викторины — опять же, с поздравлением.

Через некоторое время после публикации викторины она была удалена с сайта. Теперь по ссылке на викторину сайт выдает ошибку 404.
