Наибольшая социальная сеть в мире, Facebook, поменяла логотип впервые после своего запуска в 2005 году.

Соцсеть сменила лого 30 июня, однако не стала афишировать перемену. 

На персональной странице в сети по-прежнему остается характерная F, оставшаяся прежней. Тем не менее, при показе полного слова изменения видны. Новый логотип был разработан собственной дизайнерской командой Facebook и Эрик Олсо, который также создавал предыдущий бренд соцсети.

В целом использованный новый шрифт выглядит более мягким и округлым, что особо видно на литерах а и о.

Соцсеть ыла основана 4 февраля 2004 года Марком Цукербергом и его соседями по комнате во время обучения в Гарвардском университете. Сейчас она насчитывает более миллиарда пользователей. Осенью 2014-го капитализация Facebook перевалила за $200 млрд.
