В парламенте зарегистрирован законопроект, который предлагает ввести гендерные квоты. Одно из предложений - минимум 35% женщин в партийном списке. Инициаторами документа стали регионалы Нестор Шуфрич, Ирина Бережная, а также внефракционные Игорь Еремеев и Олег Ляшко.

Они предлагают отказывать партии в регистрации, если там будет меньше 35% представительниц слабого пола.

"Сегодня в Раде насчитывается всего 9,6% женщин от общего числа депутатов, что очень мало по сравнению с европейскими государствами. Так, в Норвегии число женщин в парламенте составляет 39%, в Финляндии - 40%, Швеции - 45%. Украина по этому показателю занимает 110-е место среди 188 стран", - цитирует авторов проекта "Полемика".

Однако эксперты не уверены в том, что принудительные квоты помогут решить эту проблему.  "К подобной инициативе сразу возникнет множество вопросов - например, почему 35%, а не 50%, и не является ли 35% дискриминацией? Непонятно, почему не учитывается мнение самих женщин. Почему нужно отказывать в регистрации партии, которая демократическим путем выдвинула кандидатов, но среди них не оказалось нужного числа женщин, потому что они сами не захотели баллотироваться? Этот документ вряд ли будет принят, поскольку партии нужно стимулировать к соблюдению прав женщин, а не насаждать это прямыми методами", - настаивает директор политико-правовых программ Центра имени Разумкова Юрий Якименко.
