Міністр закордонних справ України Павло Клімкін вважає, що проведення чесних і вільних виборів на Донбасі є важливим для вирішення конфлікту на Сході України.

Про це головний дипломат країни заявив в ексклюзивному інтерв'ю для ТСН.

"Не просто якогось фарсу, який був у листопаді, а реальних виборів, які будуть від початку готуватися з залученням ОБСЄ, із залученням бюро із дотримання прав людини, яке, до речі, знаходиться у Варшаві, яке готове працювати, яке має методологію", - додає міністр.

Одночасно він підкреслив, що проведення вільних виборів без залучення українських ЗМІ буде неможливе. Клімкін також нагадав про труднощі формування виборчих комісій на тимчасово окупованій території.

"Ми маємо зібрати – і це не умови, які ми самі вигадали, а це умови, на які Росія погодилася в рамках ОБСЄ. Таким чином, це – загальні умови, загальні демократичні умови. І ми маємо почати дискусію, яким чином ці умови мають бути виконані для місцевих виборів на Донбасі. Дійсно виконані, а не створені в такому ж фарсі, як 2 листопада. Для того і потрібні ці робочі групи", - зауважив Клімкін.
