Російські журналісти вважають рішення Верховної Ради призупинити для них акредитацію в Україні "надпропагандистським кроком", що порушує свободу слова і права журналістів.

Про це повідомляють "РИА Новости" з посиланням на голову міжнародного відділу Спілки журналістів Росії Тимура Шафіра,пише Українська правда

"Такої ситуації з позбавленням журналістів акредитації не було навіть у найгостріші періоди холодної війни і Карибської кризи – навіть тоді журналісти продовжували працювати... В даному разі позбавлення акредитації журналістів, які є цивільними дипломатами, суспільними дипломатами, – це надпропагандистський крок", – сказав він.

Шафір додав, що йому складно зрозуміти, як можна, з одного боку, декларувати прихильність демократичним принципам, а з іншого – приймати такого роду рішення.

"Це той самий випадок, коли можна говорити про порушення свободи слова та прав журналістів", – вважає він.

При цьому Шафір впевнений, що російська сторона не вживатиме відповідних заходів щодо українських журналістів, які працюють в РФ.

Як відомо, Верховна Рада позбавила низку російських ЗМІ можливості отримати акредитацію при держорганах України в четвер.
